Business Development Manager – Media Analytics Consulting Firm – Fully Remote (U.S. based) - $60k - $80k + Commission

Our client is a media analytic consulting firm that uses a company’s media consumption and performance to help them rethink its business decisions. This is done through comprehensive media monitoring, media measurement and analysis, corporate reputation and impact, and influencer mapping and targeting. Our client leverages their access to a “Glocal Panel” that has a focus on a healthcare network of opinion leaders.

The Role
Our client is looking for its next Business Development Manager to grow the U.S. market, with the opportunity to grow their own team in the future and lead the U.S. division for business development. Our client is looking to grow its client base within pharma/healthcare as well as the consumer sector. Some of the responsibilities of this role include:
- Drive new business development, sourcing leads, and identify potential clients
- Meet clients and consult with them on their needs, and position services accordingly
- Create proposals and conduct contract negotiation
- Assist teams across markets and sectors on cross-selling and regional sales opportunities
- Develop ideas on new product offerings and methods of sales
You
The ideal candidate for the Business Development Manager role will have the following experience and skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, or a relevant field
- A proven track record of growing businesses from an established client base
- A proven track record of prospecting large and mid-size companies
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in selling media intelligence solutions
- Understanding of PR/Marketing Communications and contacts within the industry
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Well-versed in solution and consultative selling with excellent negotiating skills
