Head of Sales – Entrepreneurial Start-up Company – National Role – Competitive Salary + Bonus + Share Options

 

The Company

  • My client is a small, pioneering and entrepreneurial business moving into the next stage of its growth.
  • They have ten dynamic and ambitious people in the company so far and are looking to recruit a Head of Sales to drive sales for their new product launches.
  • The company is based in South Manchester and they would ideally like someone to be able to travel to the office 2-3 days per week (Covid allowing) as the team regularly get together to discuss strategy and ideas.
  • They have already launched a major product and have a number of products in the pipeline with launches over the next few years.
  • Their aim is to empower people to self-care more effectively.

The Role

  • The Head of Sales will drive sales across the UK for an existing product and subsequent future launches.
  • In addition to sales, you will use your account management experience and skills to build successful relationships with major and national accounts.
  • It is OTC products that you will be promoting into pharmacies – both major national chains and independents. These are game-changing products with scope to be very successful!
  • Further OTC products will be added to your portfolio over the next couple of years.
  • You will have dotted line management responsibilities for a contract sales force who will support your sales efforts nationally.
  • You will work closely with the Senior Management Team who are all passionate and committed to driving the business forward.
  • You will report directly to the CEO.
  • You will be extremely visible and have the opportunity to make a real impact on business and grow with the company.

You

  • You must be experienced and have a network with pharmacy chains and independent pharmacies, ideally at a national level, but someone with a local network who is ambitious and looking to take a step up would also be considered.
  • You will ideally be based within a commutable distance to South Manchester to be able to work in the office at least once or twice per week (ideally 2-3 days).
  • You will be a successful, energetic candidate who is a real collaborator.
  • You will be excited by the idea of working for an entrepreneurial company, adaptable, and keen to make your mark in a visible role.
