Inventory Planner – Major Medical Device Manufacturer – Specialised Portfolio – Belgium – Hybrid.

  • Plan inventory for all trade items, including spares, equipment, and disposables.
  • Serve as a backup for the supply chain analyst, focusing on inventory and data management.


The Role:

  • Controlling the amount of stock at each trade stock location (using inventory reports, MRP, inventory repositioning, collaborating with sales, demand planners, commercial, marketing, etc. to control demand spikes and prevent obsolescence, etc.);
  • Handle and monitor the processing of purchase orders;
  • Own and manage the SAP parameters that affect the MRP process;
  • Process incoming flows, including shipping alerts, inbound transactions, inbound discrepancy management, and connections to accounting;
  • Increase product availability through reliable and steady product flows;
  • Recognize the company's sales, inventory, and operations planning process and work with it to plan product range changes (new products, phase out of products), supply/inventory of products, and monitoring and making (approved and documented) stock transactions to ensure recording of stock matches with physical reality;
  • Provide internal customers with the information and assistance they demand (open order information, product availability, accounting information, etc.);
  • Administer planning systems and databases to ensure correct data;
  • Coordinate stock rework (labelling, repacking, etc.) with the warehouse as needed;
  • Manage inventory counting, management, and reconciliation across several sites.



  • Graduate or university degree;
  • Experience in inventory planning/management;
  • Knowledge of SAP, including the MM module and reporting/SAP queries;
  • Strong familiarity of MS Office products, particularly Excel;
  • Strong English skills;
  • Experience with inventory management, planning, and forecasting;
  • Familiarity with logistics procedures such as warehousing, order fulfilment, freight, and customs;
  • Proficient in reporting and analysing supply chain key performance indicators. Salary.
