Medical Editor – Medical Education and Scientific Training Agency – Fully remote, Manchester or London, Hybrid - £competitive salary

This Medical Editor position is with a fantastic team of talented, enthusiastic and supportive people who produce award-winning creative and scientific communications for internal engagement, healthcare professionals and patient engagement programmes.

The Role

A Medical Editor with a passion for outstanding quality and editorial excellence, keen to support the teams to create content that engages and educates diverse audiences.

  • Copy editing, proof reading, fact and quality checks, and compliance of all deliverables to ensure the highest editorial and medical standards are met.
  • Collaborate with creative and medical writing teams to provide input and ensure accuracy and integrity of medical illustrations and figures.
  • Manage tasks across multiple accounts, products and therapy areas.

You

To excel in this Medical Editor role you will have a passion for quality and be a self-confessed perfectionist!

  • Around 2 years’ experience of copy editing with a medical or scientific focus.
  • Understand and have confidence in applying pharmaceutical compliance regulations, particularly the ABPI Code of Conduct
  • Outstanding attention to detail, able to follow a style guide and spot errors, inconsistencies and inaccuracies
  • Ability to patiently manage multiple changing projects, tasks, priorities and deadlines
  • High level of self-motivation, ability to work with tight timelines and under pressure
  • Open to new/innovative ideas, proactive and highly collaborative team player, a positive problem
