QA Manager (12month FTC Maternity Cover) – Global Healthcare company– Wiltshire (hybrid working) - £negotiable + 15% bonus, life assurance, pension, 25 days holiday and private health cover

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone develop their career in Quality Assurance in a market leading, global healthcare company. You’ll be responsible for ensuring their supply chain operations comply with all relevant quality legislation.

  • Responsible for managing a small team (2/3) whilst remaining hands on
  • Responsible for quality assurance activities for a range of products, with a big focus on medical devices
  • Development and continuous improvement of the processes needed for the QMS
  • Promote the awareness of the QMS and any applicable regulatory requirements
  • Leads external supplier audit and qualification.
  • Develops and agrees appropriate QTAs with suppliers to ensure GMP/GDP compliance.
  • Requests, reviews and processes all GMP/GDP documentation as defined in the QTAs.
  • Manages all critical quality issues e.g., complaints, recalls, stability failures, etc, ensuring investigations are correctly executed.
  • Manages GDP and GMP inspections by competent authorities and customers.
  • Implements and maintains Operations SOPs


To apply for this role as QA Manager our client is hoping for someone with the following skills and experience;

  • Ample experience in Quality Assurance specifically within medical devices
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485, 14971, 9001
  • Team management experience
  • Risk management experience
  • Internal and external auditing experience is highly advantageous
