Senior Account Executive or Account Manager - Industry Leading Medical Communications Agency - Manchester or Macclesfield - Competitive DoE

This well known, highly respected, independent, medical communications agency is in need of a Senior Account Executive or Account Manager to join their team due to continued growth. This agency is well known for being highly scientific, whilst still having a vibrant atmosphere and a fantastic social side.

The Role

This Senior Account Executive or Account Manager role will involve overseeing a range of innovative medical communication projects for pharmaceutical clients. This role will involve the following key responsibilities:

  • Examples of the projects covered at this agency are, publications planning, management of professional relations with leading academics, organising satellite symposia and stand-alone meetings, and developing a range of print and digital medical education projects.
  • Organising and participating in meetings with clients, internal teams and physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Researching information from a variety of sources in order to provide expertise in therapy areas and products.
  • Producing regular status updates for clients on current projects, which will require you to structure budgets and plans in order to fulfil the client brief.


To apply for the Senior Account Executive or Account Manager role our client was hoping for candidates with the following skills and experiences:

  • A degree in the life sciences, ideally combined with an MSc or PhD
  • Over a year's medical communications industry experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills to track financial data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
