Principal Medical Writer – Creative Agency – Medical Education and Disease Awareness – Hybrid / Remote

Creative Agency who blends medical insights and creative flair to produce the most impactful communication campaigns for pharmaceutical and life science clients

• Work across Medical Education, Product Launches, Disease Awareness and Patient Engagement and Support
• Main therapy areas are Oncology and Rare Disease
• Join a core team of 10 people surrounded by freelance specialists in medical writing, motion graphics, design, digital, graphics and animations.

The Role

Principal Medical Writer to take the lead on content creation

• Strategic and connected approach to healthcare communication campaigns
• Use science to solve problems and think outside the box
• Manage freelancers and recruit a permanent team of junior medical writers over time
• Work autonomously and proactively in a mature and trusting environment
• Office available in London Bridge, however you can work mostly remote with occasional office days for client meetings, brainstorming sessions, training and socials.

You

A Principal Medical Writer with broad deliverables experience, likely including medical education and promotional materials such as sales aids

• Comfortable line managing junior writers and supervising freelancers, including reviewing work and providing feedback
• A strategic thinker who offers ideas and input into brainstorming sessions
• A laser focus on scientific integrity and quality, with a curious and creative mind
