Senior Clinical Research Nurse – London – CRO – Up to £50,000 DOE + Benefits

The Company

  • A leading full service CRO specialising in infectious and respiratory diseases.

  • Due to increasing portfolio of studies and an ever-increasing need for development in this sector space, our client is looking to grow their team.     

The Role

  • Line management of research nurses, including the hiring and training of new staff

  • Ensuring procedural compliance

  • Overall supervision, development and implementation of study delivery strategies

  • Improvement, development and roll out of SOPs

  • Maintain relevant reporting and documentation according to the study requirements and ensure appropriate practice of this amongst the team

  • Promote and adhere to the company SOPs, protocols and Health and Safety Regulations

You

  • NMC Registration is essential

  • Clinical Research knowledge/experience.

  • Good knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/Previous experience in a clinical trial setting

  • Valid Immediate Life Support certification

  • Completed Immunisation and Vaccination (DPC Healthcare providers)

  • Sound clinical knowledge

  • Ability to delegate and supervise

  • Competence in the recording of medical history, vital signs, ECG, phlebotomy and the ability and willingness to learn new skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a Team of clinical professionals and create a productive, satisfying work environment

  • Ability to work with a degree of flexibility and multi-task

  • Demonstrated Leadership and strong motivational skills

  • An understanding of ethical practice and confidentiality

  • Good IT skills including Word and Excel

  • Previous demonstrable experience of managing the workload of a nursing team

  • Experience working within the UK healthcare structure a minimum of 12 months

  • Well-developed knowledge and understanding of clinical supervision

  • Experience in delivering clinical training
