Category Manager - Urology – Global Medical Devices Company – Remote with occasional office visits (Yorkshire) - £negotiable + Bonus, Car Allowance, Pension, Healthcare, 25 days holiday + BH

The Role

This role is focused on sourcing products within a new therapy area, ensuring they’re competitively priced. This is not a sales role.

• Sourcing and developing a new endourology and clinical urology portfolio of products for UK and international markets.
• Strategic planning and execution of the category growth strategy aligned with overall business objectives
• Building the category by liaising with and researching suitable suppliers and third party companies according to the market requirements.
• Ensuring profitability across the full lifecycle of launches products
• Product launches, market analysis, defining and delivering the vision and plan for each product within the range, working in line with NPD processes

You 

• Urology/Endourology background in the medical device market. Experience in a healthcare setting as well, is desirable but not essential
• Proven experience in product management or clinical role within a medical device company
• Product development and project management
• Thorough knowledge of the NHS competitive marketplace
