The Role

This Medical Editor role is a new addition to their team in recognition of the need for a more structured approach to quality control – You’ll have the opportunity to help build the new editorial process in this growing and developing team.

  • Edit a range of scientific medical content including educational and promotional copy across a range of therapeutic areas and asset types (e.g. digital, print)
  • Collaborate with the Medical Writers to ensure accuracy, clarity and reliability of materials
  • Ensure accurate data referencing and checks are performed
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a new quality control process

You

  • You’ll be educated to degree level (min BSc but ideally MSc) in a relevant subject area, e.g. pharmacology, medicine, biomedical sciences
  • You will bring at least 3 years’ experience of editing within a Medical Communications agency – Including editing promotional and medication education materials along with digital assets (i.e. not solely publications)
  • You’ll have excellent attention to detail, editing and proofreading ability – able to enhance scientific integrity as well as flow, syntax, grammar and spelling
  • You will need strong understanding of ABPI guidelines
