(Senior) Life Sciences Research Director – Strategic Market Research Consultancy – Salary DOE with extensive benefits

The Company

My client is a growing insights consultancy based in both the US and the UK. They have only been focused on pharmaceuticals for a few years but are already the envy of other agencies operating in this space, with an enviable client list including the majority of the top 10 pharma companies. They are very solution orientated, working closely with their clients to create actionable insights, with a particular focus on storytelling to really bring each project to life.

The Role

My client are very forward thinking with their market research – think behavioral science, incorporating AI, data analytics and other innovative methodologies. They are now looking for a (Senior) Director to further facilitate their growth with responsibilities including:

• Day to day project work acting as a true client consultant where you immerse yourself in a client problem to find a solution

• Lead on quantitative research and growth. In this role you’ll take an objective overview of all things quant in order to challenge the business to innovate further, bring new offerings to market an increase market share in this area.

• Help to move the needle to incorporate quant work across the full product lifecycle. Launch readiness, landscaping, go to market strategy – from early clinical trials to post launch, the opportunities are endless!

• Commercial delivery and business development and over time, line management

In order to be successful in this position you will need:

• A strong track record of pharmaceutical market research gained in a commercial agency environment

• Ideally a mixed method background, but quant skills are the real clincher here! Any forecasting experience on top would be a bonus too

• A collaborative mindset – ambition, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for pharmaceutical market research are key!
