Senior Vice President, Clinical Development – USA Remote - Early Stage Biotech - $300k-$400k

The Company

An early-stage Biotech focused on developing therapies for under-served rare genetic neurodevelopmental disorders. Founded in 2021 by a team of experienced scientists and entrepreneurs with a passion for developing treatments for those with devastating diseases.

As the Senior Vice President/Vice President Clinical Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the clinical development strategy for their groundbreaking gene therapy programs. Your expertise in rare diseases, pediatrics, and neurology will be crucial in shaping the future of the organization. This role offers the potential for growth into the Chief Medical Officer position.

The Role (Responsibilities)

• Lead and oversee all clinical development activities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

• Build and lead a high-performing team of clinical professionals.

• Develop and execute clinical development plans for gene therapy programs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive clinical trial design and execution.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

• Provide medical and scientific expertise to guide decision-making.

You (Qualifications)

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree is required.

• Substantial experience in rare diseases, pediatrics, and gene therapy.

• Strong background in neurology is highly preferred.

• Proven leadership experience in clinical development.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
