Key Technical Business Developer – Successful European Company starting up in the UK – Remote working – Competitive Salary + Bonus Scheme
The Company
- Do you have a scientific or medical background and a love-hate relationship with statistics? Imagine a tool where analysing complex data is not just easy—but genuinely enjoyable.
- Pioneering statisticians have built a new kind of software. Something intuitive. Something researchers could use without needing a PhD in statistics.
- This groundbreaking tool makes complex statistical analysis feel more simple and user friendly. So simple, people don’t believe it—until they see it.
- Our client is hugely popular outside of the UK and are looking for a Technical Business Developer to help them officially launch into the UK market after some strong initial interest and uptake.
The Role
- You’ll be the trusted scientific voice introducing this game-changing analytics software to researchers across the UK. It’s not a hard sell—it’s a demonstration that speaks for itself. Your job is to get it in front of the right people and guide them through how it can radically simplify their research process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships with medical doctors, PhD physicians, and academic research groups.
- Conducting demo sessions (video or live) to showcase the software’s ease and power.
- Acting as a scientific liaison, not a traditional salesperson—you’ll educate, not pressure.
- Collaborating with the founder and development team to provide user feedback, market insights and strategies for success.
- Growing adoption within NHS research hubs, university hospitals, and medical faculties.
- This role offers flexibility in hours and location, and the commission structure begins after your first sale.
You
- We’re likely looking for someone who knows the pain of stats—and sees the magic in making it easier.
- Perhaps you’ll have a background in science, medicine, or medical research (e.g. ex-doctor, PhD, or MSc) and you understand statistics, even if you don't love them—and you know others feel the same.
- You’re able to be credible with academic and clinical researchers and speak their language.
- Or perhaps you’re a successful Sales Rep / Business Development Manager currently, with a science degree and/or experience promoting complex software.
- You’re based in England or Wales, and open to working from home as well as in a shared office (to be set up based on the location of successful candidate).
- You're motivated by the chance to bring a truly helpful tool to people who need it—and to be rewarded for doing so.
What should you do next?

Unless otherwise stated, if applying for a job within the UK or European Union, you must ensure that you are already authorised to work there.
