Account Manager – Healthcare Communications Agency - Cambridge - Hybrid and flexible working - £35k - £40k plus benefits

The Company

This innovative, creative, and fast-growing healthcare communications agency is in need of an Account Manager and are eager to speak to current SAEs looking to step up or AMs that are looking for a role within a supportive, creative environment.

  • This agency works across a highly varied range of creative projects, including publications, meetings and events, digital communications, external expert relations and medical education.

The Role

As an Account Manager you will lead the day-to-day communications and smooth running of projects with clients.

  • Develop and maintain strong and trusted relationships with all clients.
  • Ensuring all projects are driven and delivered on time, on budget and in line with the clients’ strategy.
  • Financial responsibilities will include monitoring client budgets, reconciliations, forecasting as well as managing changes in scope.
  • Being part of proposal development.
  • Reviewing the projects with the clients and internal teams regularly.
  • Working cross functionally with the creative, designers, writers to produce engaging creative projects.
  • Mentoring the junior team in a positive, supportive manner.

You

To be successful for this Account Manager role, you will bring a solid foundation of client management from a healthcare background.

  • You must already be a Senior Account Executive or an Account Manager within a healthcare communications environment.
  • Proven experience with developing client relationships.
  • Must have a life science degree.
  • Experience in managing various projects at the same time. Including planning and delivery.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability and enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable presenting over teams and in person.
