Publications Project Coordinator – Medical Society - Medical Education – Fully Remote in UK

  • Publishes handbooks, scientific meetings reports and medical training guidelines.

The Role

As Publications Project Coordinator, you will provide project management support to the Publications and Production team to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of all projects.

  • Monitor timelines, project tracking and reporting using Asana project management system.
  • Planning, organisation and running of project kick-off calls and initiation
  • Invitation of authors, follow ups, set up and tracking of the Declaration of Interest (DOI) process
  • Liaison with committee members and authors to plan, set up and report on project status
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure all elements of project are in order
  • Ownership of individual projects and participate in the development and maintenance of project management SOPs.

You

You may be working as a Project Coordinator or Project Executive in a Medical Communications agency and be keen to broaden your experience by working for a specialist medical society.

  • Project management experience, and ideally working knowledge of a project management system.
  • Managing timelines, attention to detail and good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in a scientific or educational organisation would be an advantage.
  • Team work, initiative, meeting management and adaptability are key skills.
